Groups now show a countdown when the next pulse is less than 24 hours away. This release also brings CSS scoring to swim leaderboards, adds trail details to hiking pulses, and makes inferred sport type explanations clearer.

This release improves road ride analytics and makes weekly highlights clearer in groups. You'll see new road ride power metrics (including a compound score), more readable time-based stats, smarter sport inference when the specific activity type is missing, and better personalization in pulses.

Browse your full activity history in a dedicated journal, each entry paired with your personalized pulses. Event-based goals now get a focused pulse in the final week with recommendations and progress toward race day. You can opt into email after every activity, see clearer training load context on For You, sync via Garmin Connect, and benefit from race-page unit fixes plus cleaner timing metrics.

This release adds more ways to capture and interpret training effort. You can now submit perceived effort directly on activity pages, view classified workout effort types in a new training calendar, and get more accurate matching and pulse behavior through updates to co-activity detection, family activity handling, and interval parsing.

This release improves sport-specific accuracy and reliability across activity processing, pulse generation, and email delivery. Swim metrics are now fully supported with correct unit handling, running pace and lap logic are more accurate, and several edge-case bugs were fixed around race flags, Strava activity-type changes, and pace conversion sent to AI. We also improved mailer rendering for dark mode/mobile and moved the app to app.lasso.fit.

You can now add your own context to any activity for smarter personal pulses and a richer training log. Personal bests and standout pulse insights trigger email highlights so you never miss a milestone. We've also added power metrics for the main portion of workouts, automatic muscle group detection for weight training, HR-calibrated RPE for strength sessions, and several bug fixes across iOS and activity processing.

Refreshed the website to better showcase Lasso's latest features and value. The weekly pulse is now leaner and more focused—we've removed actionable suggestions and challenge analysis, improved co-activity callouts, and suppressed redundant stat listings for a cleaner read. The weekly recap email also got a design refresh. Standard track and race distances (400m, 10K, etc.) now display correctly for imperial users instead of being converted.

Introducing the new personalized pulse—a private, AI-generated insight just for you with recommendations tailored to your activity history and fitness level. There's also a new activity detail page for a deeper look at each workout's impact on your fitness, smarter FTP detection for ramp tests, and several improvements and fixes.

New personalized stats on your profile page, an updated personalized pulse that better understands your current fitness level for more relevant recommendations, and a new fitness trend score so you can see whether you're improving or coasting. Plus mailer style fixes and bidirectional route matching when evaluating segment data.

Lasso now detects workout patterns and activity structure. When you're run training with intervals like 4×400 + 2×800, we match other activities with the same signature for comparison and progression tracking. Activity shape detection (warm up, core, cool down) lets you compare insights on the core effort—especially useful for cycling. Plus custom group prompts, an iOS splash screen, comeback activity threshold fix, and UI improvements.

We've enhanced the sign-in experience with email-based one-time sign in codes, improved email communications with welcome emails and weekly recaps, and redesigned the settings page with updated styles and notification preferences. The onboarding flow has also been updated to match our new design system.

We've refreshed Lasso's visual identity with updated brand colors and introduced dark mode support. The app now automatically adapts to your system preferences, providing a more comfortable viewing experience in low-light conditions. We've also addressed several mobile interface issues to improve usability across all devices.

Enhanced mobile web experience, improved performance on group pages, and better route matching when processing activities. Activity pulses now leverage repetitive route data for richer insights. Fixed group member visibility issues with lead changes in race analysis.

Enhanced weekly views with race integration, improved recap positioning, and push notification tracking. Weekly highlights now link directly to race analysis when applicable, end-of-week recaps are repositioned for better visibility, and race activities receive greater emphasis in weekly pulses.

Refined pulse generation with group personality applied to activity pulses, reduced leaderboard mentions in weekly pulses, and improved activity highlight cards. Activity processing enhancements include snowshoe activities processed as hikes and improved interest scoring with better repetition detection.

Redesigned group weekly view to focus on highlights, pulses, comparisons, and leaderboards with a cleaner, more focused interface. User profiles now show only your own activities, multi-day activity detection is improved, and leaderboard visualization includes rank change tracking throughout the week. Photo album and map features have been removed from the weekly view.

Enhanced activity interest scoring with weather and activity name analysis, improved heart rate zone calibration to align with Strava, additional timezone fixes, and automatic processing of historical activities for new users. The in-app changelog feature has been removed.

Introduced group leaderboards with relative scoring based on member baselines, activity interest scoring, and dynamic ranking updates. Weekly pulses now mention leaderboard standings, and the leaderboard interface allows exploring individual member activities. Also includes timezone fixes, improved section navigation, and enhanced activity stats presentation.

Improved algorithms and data processing across multiple areas including FTP calculations, power zone adjustments, heart rate zone accuracy, and new sport-specific metrics. Weight training pulses are now more comprehensive, and user weight syncs automatically from Strava when available.

Lasso now provides richer context in pulses with location and weather information, celebrates holidays and birthdays, and incorporates personalized details into activity analysis. Weekly and activity pulses now include travel location details, weather conditions, and special greetings for US holidays and user birthdays.

Races are now automatically detected from activities tagged with the race tag in Strava. When a race is detected, Lasso creates a dedicated race page with AI-generated segments based on the course, location, terrain, and weather conditions. If other group members participated in the same race, their activities are automatically added to the analysis. When multiple racers are present, you'll see lead changes, a live scoreboard, and AI-powered segment-by-segment commentary delivered with the excitement of a horse race announcer.

Sport-Specific Metrics

Lasso now provides deeper, sport-specific analytics for your activities. Running activities include pacing data, time in zones, and aerobic threshold drift. Cycling activities feature mountain bike metrics for climbing, descending, and functional threshold power. Strength training sessions show set counts, rest periods, and cardiovascular metrics.

Add your vitals in settings to unlock enhanced metrics and improve the accuracy of Lasso's analysis. Your personal health data helps us provide more personalized insights.

Improved Pulse Context

Activity pulses now have better temporal awareness. Lasso considers the timing of your week when generating insights, so early-week activities get context-appropriate analysis.

Track Training Detection

When you log track workouts like 400m repeats, Lasso automatically detects and provides specialized performance analysis. If group members both run track workouts in the same week, you'll get detailed comparisons between your sessions.
